Ad Rates
General Conditions
Advertising agencies assume liability for content, including text, representation,and illustrations, as well as responsibility for any claims against the publisher that may arise from the advertisement. The publisher reserves the right to reject any advertisement which does not meet the publication's standards.
All advertising copy is subject to approval by the publisher.
Production Services
WLA will create and/or produce your advertisement at a rate of $75.00 per hour, billed in 15-minute increments.
In-House Production Requirements
Photos for scanning should be of highest possible quality to insure sharpest reproduction. Provide 5"x7" or 8"x10" prints or color transparencies. Electronic files should be provided in the following formats: Data CD or Data DVD, Zip 100MB PC or Mac. All text files should be provided in ".txt" format only.
We are able to accept work created in QuarkXpress 6.0 or Lower, Indesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Adobe PDF. Acceptable formats of complete ads, are .jpg, .tif, .eps or .pdf . All Image resolution must be 300 dpi, for maximum quality. Call us if you have questions about generic applications or need information on translation procedures. Send all fonts (printer and screen) and supporting photos and logos with your job.
Camera Ready Art
There will be no velox or film separations accepted. All files must be electronic. Additional charges may apply if files need to be corrected with customer’s notification.
* Page trim size is 8 1/2" wide x 10 7/8" deep.
* Cover page size (bleed) is 8 3/4" x 11 1/8".
* Spread page (2 pages) bleed size is 17 1/4" x 11 1/8".
* Binding is perfect bound. Live matter is at least 1/2" from gutter and edges.
Acceptable Materials
Final reproduction quality is contingent on sharpness of material furnished. Any necessary production work, including artwork, will be billed to the advertiser at prevailing rates.
